Bio-CNG infrastructure, owned for life

Alchemy develops, owns and operates compressed biogas assets — and installs them inside factories that put up nothing.

Sum of six published project figures — PA-07

Marker size is capacity; a solid ring is operational and a dashed ring is not yet. Positions are district centroids and are indicative — the published locations are prose, not coordinates (PA-14).

Built by people who have done this at scale

Alchemy is a project developer and asset operator — not an EPC, and not a plant manufacturer. It owns the assets it builds.

Founder Sushant Arora co-founded CleanMax — Asia's largest C&I renewable energy company, 2+ GW operational.

The same model applies here. Alchemy funds, builds, owns and operates the plant for its life, through a dedicated SPV, and carries the operating risk itself. A factory sharing revenue with Alchemy is sharing it with the operator, not with a contractor who leaves after commissioning.

Where the gas goes

CBG is sold into long-term offtake with oil marketing companies and city gas distributors. Alchemy's own offtake counterparties are not published, and this page does not name any.

Fermented organic manure

Every plant produces high-quality FOM alongside the gas — 18 to 50 TPD per site, and a second revenue line rather than a disposal cost.

What we do

Two ways Alchemy builds. One puts the asset on its own site; the other puts it inside yours.

Standalone CBG plants

Developed end to end through SPVs, on Alchemy's own sites, against an aggregated agricultural feedstock supply chain. Six assets across five states.

Factory-integrated systems

Alchemy funds, builds and operates a plant inside an existing facility. The factory contributes its waste stream and shares revenue. Where a site already produces raw biogas, only upgradation is installed; where it has organic waste but no digester, both go in.

    Fermented organic manure

Material studies, not facility photography. Four of the six plants are pre-commissioning, so there is nothing to photograph — and generating something that reads as an Alchemy plant would be a misrepresentation (§6).

Zero rupees from you. Revenue back to you.

If your process throws off organic waste or raw biogas, that stream has a revenue line in it. Alchemy pays for the plant that unlocks it.

Roughly what would your site produce?

Two inputs. Indicative ranges, and the conversion factors are on the page — they are public-literature figures, not Alchemy's, and the tool says so (PA-11).

Enter a figure and the indicative output appears here — CBG, fermented organic manure, emissions avoided, and the revenue share your facility would take.

Feedstock in, pipeline-grade gas out

Green is what arrives. Blue is what leaves. The accent crosses over at upgradation, which is the moment the process does too.

  1. Feedstock intake

Aggregation from farms and factories, weighbridge, storage. Alchemy builds the supply chain, not just the plant.

  2. Anaerobic digestion

Raw biogas out, digestate to fermented organic manure. Still an input-side process.

  3. Upgradation

CO₂ stripped to pipeline-grade methane. Where a factory already has a digester, this is the only stage Alchemy installs.

  4. Compression and offtake

Cascade filling and dispatch to the offtake contract. Blue through to the end.

The portfolio

Six standalone assets across five states, plus factory-integrated systems at a starch and chemicals plant and across a group of sugar distilleries.

Figures and commissioning dates exactly as the live site publishes them. Two of them need checking and that is part of the pitch: Madhya Pradesh and Haryana are published at the same tCO₂ on different capacity and different feedstock (PA-06), and Madhya Pradesh still reads Q3 2026, which is the quarter we are in (PA-21).

What gets built, and when

One plant runs today. Five more are dated. Set against a calendar rather than a status column, the portfolio is a company about to multiply its operating base almost seven times in under two years.

Bars are published capacity; positions are published commissioning dates, placed at the midpoint of the quarter where only a quarter was given. Madhya Pradesh still reads Q3 2026 — the quarter the today marker sits in, and the reason this chart shows a date line at all (PA-21).
